The name of the association has changed over time, adapting to the needs of the times, the first name was Mexican Association for the Study of Sterility, amended in 1966 to the Mexican Association for the Study of Fertility and Human Reproduction from 1993 and acquired the present name. In 1969 to commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of the founding of the Association, it was decided to perform a reunion to share knowledge, experiences and progress of the associates and physicians interested in playing.
